Yohei Hirano

I’m a photographer based in Tokyo.

I moved to San Francisco in 2022 to study photography at the Academy of Art University, where I graduated in 2024.

Influenced by my background in skateboarding culture, my work blends the energy of movement with the emotion of stillness.

Working across fashion, editorial, and sports, I’m drawn to authenticity and visual storytelling. Whether photographing athletes or models, my goal is to create images that feel alive—balancing strength, vulnerability, and style.

東京を拠点に活動するフォトグラファー。

2022年に渡米し、サンフランシスコのAcademy of Art Universityで写真を学び、2024年に卒業。2026年に帰国。

スケートボードカルチャーに影響を受けたバックグラウンドを軸に、動きのエネルギーと静けさの感情が共存するビジュアル表現を追求している。

ファッション、エディトリアル、スポーツを中心に活動し、リアリティとストーリーテリングを大切にしながら、被写体の持つ空気感や存在感を自然に引き出すことを得意とする。アスリートでもモデルでも、「生きている瞬間」を感じられるような、力強さと繊細さ、そしてスタイルが共存する写真を目指している。
