Yohei Hirano

I’m a photographer born and raised in Tokyo, now based in the United States.

I moved to San Francisco in 2022 to study photography at the Academy of Art University, where I graduated in 2024.

Influenced by my background in skateboarding culture, my work blends the energy of movement with the emotion of stillness.

Working across fashion, editorial, and sports, I’m drawn to authenticity and visual storytelling. Whether photographing athletes or models, my goal is to create images that feel alive—balancing strength, vulnerability, and style.
